Dance Green

Start your EDC adventure before you even reach the Speedway! Help us keep Mother Nature green and clean by carpooling with a group of fellow revelers or taking one of the Insomniac shuttles. These options save space and time for all embarking on the EDC experience! Make your journey eco-friendly, affordable and fun from beginning to end.

We strongly encourage our fans to become responsible citizens, accountable for your actions and a source of inspiration to your friends and family. As our electronic dance music community grows, the Insomniac family grows, and thus our ability to collectively effect change by reducing our impact on the planet and on one another skyrockets.

Through the Dance Green project, Insomniac is developing new ways to help green our events as well as provide you, the fan, with tools to contribute to this important process. Stay tuned as we will continue to update on our progress and goals for EDC Las Vegas 2013!

2012 Dance Green Initiatives

EDC Las Vegas 2012 Fueling Up With Biodiesel:

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and use domestically-produced energy, EDC Vegas will be using B20 biodiesel this year in most of our generators. Biodiesel is American-produced fuel made from non-petroleum, renewable resources and emits less air pollutants (other than nitrogen oxides) and greenhouse gases.

EDC Las Vegas 2012 Recycling Program- Help us Dance Green!

Be a part of the Dance Green Team! We will have recycling bins all over the place - at the entrance gates, by the water refill stations, at the concession stands. Our recycling bins will be next to the Landfill bins marked with big recycling logos, so please put your cans, bottles and plastic cups into the recycling bins. We will be sorting through every bag to collect and weigh as many recyclables as possible. Help us to recycle and make EDC Vegas 2012 the most sustainable ever!

See You In 2014
