Drug use can be harmful and pose serious danger to your health, including death. Avoiding drug use is the only way to completely avoid drug-related risks.

i) Recognize signs of trouble – Signs include headaches, nausea, confusion, blurred vision, inability to talk, racing heartbeat, vomiting, muscle tremors, convulsions, discolored lips or nail-beds, shallow breathing. If you or your friends experience just one sign seek medical help immediately.
ii) Know that amounts and frequency of drug and alcohol use can increase risks of problems.
iii) Mixing drugs, including alcohol can increase chances of dangerous drug interactions and overdose.
iv) Take frequent breaks from dancing and sun exposure.
v) Stay hydrated – Drink water or non-caffeinated sports drinks (to replenish electrolytes). Alcohol and caffeine dehydrate the body.
vi) Remember to eat.
vii) Watch out for your friends. If you or your friends are not feeling well, seek help immediately.

ZERO TOLERANCE For Drug Use Or Possession

The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Narcotics officers will be working both areas and enforcing all drug related laws. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found intoxicated at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy the full festival experience of Electric Daisy Carnival.

Every attendee will be searched prior to entry into the event. This include members of the media. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a thorough TSA-style search, including emptying your pockets and bags, a full pat down, having all of your items examined and possibly removing your shoes. Police officers will be working inside and outside of the event. All narcotics laws will be strictly enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.

SAFETY & MEDICAL

Insomniac is dedicated to providing a safe environment for the fans, the staff, the artists, and everyone else who helps make this event a reality. Public and private security and professional medical staff will be present throughout the entire event. If you need any assistance please look for Medical and Information tent(s), or seek out a peace officer or event staff member.

Food & Beverages

Food and beverage stands will be located throughout the event with many different options to choose from. There will also be roaming vendors with water, snacks, and other beverages available.

KEEPING HYDRATED

Drinking plenty of water and keeping hydrated throughout the entire event is crucial. It is important to drink water at regular intervals, especially in hot weather.

BARS FOR 21+

Beer & champagne will be served at the bars located throughout the event. Liquor can only be purchased in the VIP areas.

ATMs

There will be numerous ATMs located around the venue. ATM locations will be marked on the map you receive when entering the event.

MERCH BOOTH

The Insomniac Merchandise Booth(s) can be found on the event map and will have a variety of t-shirts, jackets, backpacks, sweatshirts and more.

GENERAL STORE

The Insomniac General Store will be available for your convenience, stocked with items you may have forgotten at home.

LOST AND FOUND

The lost and found will be located next to the information booth inside the event.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION FOR ENTRY
  • Any U.S. government issued driver's license or identification card provided that it contains a photograph and date of birth.
  • A U.S. or foreign government issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth.
UNACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION FOR ENTRY
  • School identification.
  • Consular identification.
  • Licenses issued in countries other than the U.S.
  • Expired identification of any kind.
  • Birth certificates.
  • Xerox copies of any identification.
