As one half of Twocker, one half of a new duo on the scene Bass Weazal and the man behind the techno outfit Rudi Stakker, Will really knows how to make some noise. Bass Weazal was instantly recognized by Fidget King Lee Mortimer and the debut EP was signed to Mortimer’s own label Wearhouse. Rudi Stakker has also gained a long list of fans such as Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cantteneo, Pete Tong, James Talk, Audiojack, Dave Seaman, Mark Knight, Fergie, Wally Lopez, Thomas Schumacher, Kanio, Ricky Stone and James Zabiela.
With an incredibly impressive discography of 60+ recordings already and a DJ diary that takes him from his studio near Birmingham to clubs all over the world, including Privilege (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), Godskitchen (Birmingham), Womb (Tokyo), Club Bon Bon (Shanghai) and Empire (Australia), it would seem that Will is well on the way to achieving his highly ambitious goals.
This year alone, Will Bailey has managed no less than 7 Radio 1 plays, 15 Galaxy Radio plays, an interview with Judge Jules and a top 10 remix for electro man of the moment Wolfgang Gartner, a feat that has lead to him to becoming one of the hottest re-mixers/producers in the UK, and firmly established him amongst the UKs leading acts… Everyone from Pete Tong to Eric Morillo, Fat Boy Slim, Van Helden and Roger Sanchez have been feeling his music. This year Will’s own label Simma Records will see releases such as the huge Krusher with new remixes from Escobar and Vito. The rest of 2009 looks set to boil over and explode for Simma Records which will be throwing parties in various locations throughout the year.
Will’s success in the studio see’s him touring the world during the rest of 2009, demonstrating the overwhelming talent behind the decks that he has crafted over the last 10 years, the next six months jam packed diary sees Will take in some of the world’s most famous underground venues, including… Womb in Tokyo, Sankey’s in Manchester, Space in Leeds, Ofrey in Ukraine and return to Australia & Canada.
