Free Water Refill Stations

Free Water Refill Stations

June 18th, 2013

We're bringing our free water refill stations back to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway so you can enjoy free water all weekend long at EDC! You can use any beverage container purchased inside the venue, camelbaks, or your Insomniac water bottle at the refill stations for free water that has gone through  state of the art filtration systems including ultraviolet sterilization. Your Insomniac water bottle or camelbak must be completely dry and empty when you enter the festival. There will be several free water refill stations located throughout the festival and they will be clearly marked on the map.

You can purchase an Insomniac water bottle at EDC Las Vegas for a great souvenir that you can bring back to any Insomniac festival in the future including Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape From Wonderland, White Wonderland, or Beyond Wonderland.

Please remember to drink plenty of water before, during, and after the festival. Staying hydrated is crucial, especially when dancing for long periods of time in the heat. Take your Insomniac water bottle with you and stay hydrated on the dance floor!

EDC Travel Tips

EDC Travel Tips

June 18th, 2013

We want your commute to and from EDC to go smoothly and efficiently, so we've compiled a list of travel tips and options. Travel options are much improved from last year to enhance your experience. Shuttles and taxis will have a newly dedicated route to/from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway that is separate from auto traffic – and that will speed up shuttle/taxi travel. Auto access routes have been modified to improve access, and additional parking staff have been added to increase the speed of access and parking. We encourage you to take advantage of the EDC shuttle for the fastest and easiest transport.

EDC Shuttle
The EDC shuttle is the fastest and easiest way to the festival! EDC Bus Shuttle routes will depart from major Las Vegas hotels and transport you via a dedicated route away from auto traffic to a new conveniently located shuttle lot at the Speedway. See Shuttle details.

Driving Tips
If you take a car, then please rideshare to the maximum extent possible. This will minimize the number of vehicles on the roadways and reduce the journey time for everyone.

If you come by car, please make sure you have a full tanks of gas before coming to the event. There are no easy opportunities to gas up at the Speedway.

The best and fastest route by car will be via I-15. The most parking at the Speedway is on the north side of the Speedway (Blue Lot) – and easily accessed via I-15. Other parking is also available on the west and south sides of the Speedway, which can be accessed via Las Vegas Boulevard. See Travel Directions details.

Please do not use Google Maps or MapQuest for directions. Use only the maps on this website – which will provide the fastest routes to the Speedway. See Directions Map and Festival Site Access Map. Familiarize yourself with the Festival Site Access Map to understand the parking locations, and shuttle and taxi lot locations.

If you are using Las Vegas Boulevard, then be aware that auto traffic will not be allowed north of Checkered Flag Boulevard (Gate 4).
